| Recruitment |
| To prepare and place internal vacancy notices and prepare external advertisements, liaising with our advertising recruitment agency as appropriate |
| To carry out all administration with regards to inviting/rejecting candidates for interview – utilising our on-line recruitment system in addition to the more traditional ‘paper-based’ approach – and liaise with line managers in setting up interview dates |
| To source temporary members of staff and carry out interviews for such staff where required |
| To issue job offers/terms and conditions of employment for both permanent and temporary members of staff and liaise closely with payroll/finance to ensure the passage of correct documentation/information |
| To monitor and maintain follow-up systems to ensure that all pre-employment checks are completed for all new joiners. |
| General |
| To maintain accurate information on starters and leavers and respond quickly to mortgage, tenancy and reference letters received |
| To operate and utilise the HR database to its fullest extent to issue standard letters, access information, record relevant information and run standard and ad hoc reports |
| To work closely with payroll to ensure that salary reviews, secondments and transfers are all processed accurately and all relevant parties informed. |
| To issue, follow through, and submit orders/invoices to Finance for payment, keeping accurate records and documentation |
| To be active in helping to resolve staff queries both in person and in response to email |
| To ensure that all benefits administration is carried out in line with appropriate timescales and deadlines (private health care, pension, life assurance etc...) |
| To order/maintain stationary in the HR office in Navan |
| Secretarial duties including word processing, typing, filing, photocopying and faxing |
| To take on ad hoc projects as directed by the HR Manager. |
